**With great respect this servant wished to present before your eyes two provisional translations of Bahá'u'lláh.

These particular translations are of great and special interest in the context of the Bible and Christian expectation and eschatology.

The learned reader of this translation list and its sister lists will readily appreciate the great claim of their Author Bahá'u'lláh and how lovingly and luminously He relates His claim to the Gospel [Injil]..

First a word of humble introduction.

In the Gospel of Luke but also in Mark and Luke a story is narrated about a young man, his going to Jesus Christ, and the conversation Jesus had with the young man about the **Good**

Matthew 19:16  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God:

Mark 10:17  And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Luke 18:18  And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

As you, dear friends see this episode is in all the Synoptic Gospels.

Now the Arabic Gospel has for the word or adjective the GOOD  **S.alih.** In other words the Good of the English Gospels the Greek [AGATHOS] is in Arabic S.alih. which word starts with the Letter S.ad [as in the Imam S.ádiq]

With this background I offer these two provisional translations from the original Arabic of Bahá'u'lláh.

In His Name the Inaccessible, the Most Holy,  the Most Exalted.

 Praise be to Thee, O my God, in that Thou hast made manifest that which lay concealed in Thy knowledge and for that which Thou hast expounded unto Thy servants, bringing them near to the shore of the ocean of Thy loving kindness.  I beseech Thee by Thy name through which the **S.ad** mentioned in the Gospel has indeed descended, through which Letter there has appeared what was promised in all Thy books and tablets, Thy scrolls and Thy scriptures. I beseech Thee that Thou mayest make everyone of Thy lovers to be steadfast in Thy cause and staunch in Thy love so that they may see in Thy cause Thy good pleasure and what Thou hast ordained by Thy decree.  O my Lord Thou hast made this station of radiant acquiescence [acting in accord with Thy goodpleasure] to be the highest station.  I beg of Thee that Thou may not prevent Thy loved ones from this sublime station.  Verily Thou art Powerful, the Supreme, the Help in peril, the All-forgiving, the Most Generous.

The other provisional translation of a section of longer Tablet is:

O concourse of the Son! Verily the kingdom of God has been adorned in My name and His dominion with My sovereignty and Jesus Christ[the Spirit] laments that which has befallen Me from the hosts of tyranny.  Verily the Temple testifieth unto Thy Lord, the Causer of causes and yet all nations have fallen silent.  Verily, this Temple is built on the foundation of righteousness not on that of self and desire, were ye to understand.  In truth it has been constructed by the hand of the Will of God but none knoweth this except a truly discerning and aware one.  He is the one about whom Christ has spoken and in whose mention both the Torah and the Evangel were embellished.  Verily through the fragrance of My Revelation every mouldering bone has become quickened but the majority of people are of the dead.  Arise from the couch of heedlessness and self and desire in the name of the Creator of heaven and then turn your faces to the horizon of God’s Cause in this Name, the most transcendent.  Verily He is the “one Good”
